Delete your account
Takes about ten seconds. It's permanent.
In the app
- Open Unleaf and go to the Me tab.
- Tap the ⚙ settings icon at the top.
- Scroll to Account → Delete account.
- Confirm twice. Your account and all data — check-ins, pledges, posts, messages, everything — are erased immediately.
By email
If you can't get into the app, email privacy@unleaf.app from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We'll confirm and delete within 30 days (usually the same day).
What happens when you delete
- Gone immediately, for good: your name, email, username, login, push tokens, buddy contacts, journal notes, companion messages, community posts, and your written reasons and plans. There is no "reactivate" — a new account starts from zero.
- Kept without your identity: the numbers from your recovery — check-in scores, pledge dates, craving outcomes, exercise feedback, supplement check-offs — stripped of anything that links them to you. They help us learn what actually works for people quitting kratom. Nobody, including us, can trace them back to you.
- Kept for safety: a hashed (unreadable) version of your email so we can spot abuse, and moderation records if any.
- Kept because the law requires it: billing records for your subscription, mainly held by Apple/Google/RevenueCat.
Data stored only on your phone (toolkit patterns) is removed when you uninstall the app. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — do that in your App Store or Google Play settings. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
